The Souls of Pets: A Study
By Alice L. Haber
Ever wonder what your pet is thinking?
Alice L. Haber does.
According to a Forbes study, 66 percent of households in the United States (86.9 million) own a pet.
Dogs are the most popular, and 48 million Americans share their lives with at least one. Cats account for 25.4 percent of pets; roughly 45 million Americans have at least one cat.
In her fourth book, Haber has asked her fellow pet people to find out what’s on the minds of their pets. Following a list of questions created by Haber, her friends and neighbors engaged their pets in interviews.
The result (with a dash of creative license) is The Souls of Pets: A Study. As Haber says in her introduction “Every pet should be given a voice, considering all the help they give us.”
Alice L. Haber, 90, was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother. This is her fourth book.
